a strip about a Mexican teenager with magical powers
named Jesus.

Then four Gospel-writing dudes came along with their
own tales about a guy with magical powers named
Jesus, except - get this - he’s not Mexican! (Assumedly,
their lawyers made the suggestion so as to override any
possible copyright infringement issues.)

Chris and Matt decided that if these rip-off artists
were going to steal their premise, then the only
reasonable retort was to parody their stories.
